Most AI is an illusion of understanding, conjured fresh each session from whatever fragments of context fit through the window, then discarded. The Node builds from the whole record instead. Your backup becomes the substrate, the corpus is the source of truth, and intelligence runs as a projection over it.
And your data stops being something the AI fetches call by call. It is learned: weights trained over the corpus, carried on a frozen open-weights base. Upgrades are deliberate, versioned rebases as open models advance. Retrieval becomes memory. The record stays the proof, the ground every learned habit can be traced back to.
